Men are considered to be an integral part of the fabric of society. In saying that, by no means do we discount the value of women. It is accepted that men usually set trends with regard to behaviour, responsibilities and values given the fact that men are more suitable in leadership roles. Today, society desperately requires leaders of calibre – persons of integrity who stand for morals, values and ethics but who also administer these values in their day-to-day interactions, home or the workplace.
In order to ameliorate a country/ province/ state/ suburb/ community or even a home, we need to better the type of man to fill these positions of leadership and authority. This may take on different forms – assisting, encouraging, supporting, defending, coming along side of the man in every stage of life as toddler, boy, teenager, young adult, adult and even senior. In addition to this, we have to identify the calibre or attributes of the ideal someone which a home/ community/ suburb/ state/ province/ country can rely on, admire and aspire to.
Calibre Kings is that platform where the utopia is firstly envisaged, aspired to and can be realised one step at a time. We aspire to create a blueprint worth its weight in gold, to stand the test of time to pass on to the next generations in order to sustain ethical societies ahead. Road maps will be created to facilitate this process so that the generations who follow will not have to ‘wing it’ or grope in the dark searching for answers. Men will work together across generations sharing best practices. In this way the next generation will know purpose, have direction and be motivated by any challenges to maintain and uphold principles which will stand the test of time. Consistency will be key.
This will take the form of cluster groups which will meet regularly (preferably not exceeding 12). Friendships , vulnerability, support and even challenge are the fundamental tools to be used to establish these clusters where rationale, secrets, keys, values, morals and principles are discussed and instilled as we endeavour toward establishing safe and secure environments, starting with the man.
